SCHINDMACHINES STWS-3623 SUPER THIN MULTI WIRE SAW BLOCK CUTTING MACHINE

Super Thin Multi Wire Saw Machine for Marble and Natural Stone Cutting Ultra thin multi wire saw machine using diamond wires for cutting marble, travertine & limestone blocks into high-precision slabs. High efficiency, low kerf loss, advanced technology

Introducing the new generation of ultra-fine microwire cutting technology revolutionizing the natural stone industry. This technology reduces raw material loss by up to 25% when processing marble, travertine, and limestone blocks, directly increasing your business profitability. Replacing traditional cutting machines, this Super Fine Wire Saw "micro wire" technology is the latest innovation in maximizing efficiency and raw material savings (less waste) in the marble sector. Our nickel-plated wires, with their single screwless structure, offer smoother, higher cutting speeds and superior surface quality even on the hardest blocks, making them an ideal solution for modern stone processing plants.

The super fine multi-wire marble block cutting machine is designed to cut stone blocks from 10mm to 30mm thick into slabs with high efficiency.
The main frame columns are made of HT300 cast iron, completely preventing vibration. The linear cutting speed is between 1500m-1800m per minute. On polyurethane-coated rollers, known for their rigid structure, grooves are made for the wires according to the desired cutting intervals. Different sizes cannot be cut on the same roller without the surface being zeroed and turned again. In this new technology multi-thin wire block cutting machine, the system works in two ways. First, the block, aligned in the center of the machine, rises upwards in a pressure-controlled manner like an elevator, while electrolyzed diamond powder-coated wires cut the block into slabs. Second, super-thin wires rotate between rollers on the marble block aligned in the center of the machine, while the upper assembly of the machine moves downwards, producing slabs from the marble block.

Our STWS-3623 ultra-thin multi-wire marble block cutting machine has 30km of super-thin wire coated with diamond powder. After approximately 1500-2000 meters of diamond wire is wound between polyurethane rollers (depending on the desired slab thickness and the width of the block to be processed), the electrolyzed diamond wire is fixed to another coil on the other side of the machine. During the cutting process of the natural stone block, the super-thin wire moves back and forth 2km-3km. After the super thin saw wires penetrate 20-25cm into the block, spacers are placed between the slabs. After cutting is complete, the used worn wires are cut and discarded to recycled metal scrap.

Why Schind STWS-3623 Super Fine Wire Technology?
Minimum Cutting Allowance (Kerf Loss): Obtain more plates from each block thanks to the 0.5 mm - 0.6 mm wire thickness.

Electrolyzed Diamond Coating: Diamond powders of different sizes fixed onto a single wire with nickel plating offer high cutting speed and long wire life.

High Precision: Smart technology that minimizes wire breakage with a servo motor-controlled tensioning system.

Environmentally Friendly: Sustainable production with less sludge waste and low energy consumption.

Advantages
• Precise Cutting: Minimum material loss thanks to ultra-fine wires. Maximum plate production per block.
• High Efficiency: Faster cutting times, low energy consumption. Lower Waste Production
• Multiple Stone Types: Superior performance on marble, travertine, terrazzo, limestone, artificial and other natural stones.
• Modern Technology: More durable and optimized system compared to competing brands. Ready for Industry 4.0 integration, advanced automation compatibility, compact and modern design.

What is Ultra-Fine Diamond Wire? Why is the super fine-wire block cutting machine, also called a bristle gang saw, the Future of Stone Cutting? What are the differences between ultra fine-wire block cutting and block cutting with diamond bead wire or blade gang saw machine?

Unlike traditional multi-wire sawing machines, this system uses single-core ultra-thin electroplated diamond wires instead of relatively thick diamond bead wire, providing:
🔹 Super Thin Diamond Wire Technology and 🔹 High-Efficiency Slab Production

• Up to 30-40% material savings, most of the waste sludge remains as slabs.
• Higher slab yield. Reduced cutting loss, material loss is minimized with wire diameters as low as 0.5 mm, and yield per block is increased.
• Lower environmental impact. Savings on waste sludge costs.
• Less vibration. High cutting accuracy. Reduced cutting resistance and therefore less damaging cuts.
• Smooth surface quality. Reduced need for secondary processing in the stone processing plant.
• Long wire life. Consistent performance.
• Lower energy consumption. Reduced operating costs.
